Markets Overstretched?

Many are stating the markets are overstretched and we need a healthy correction. Optik Options recent alerts have been hurt and brought down our overall YTD returns. As a leader globally a correction in here in the US could trigger a global correction. Goldman Sachs states that pain is near for investors claiming that the market is one of the most expensive since 1900, in 117 years! But this is not 1900!

In 1900 we did not have high speed, high frequency and algorithmic trading. We also did not have overall market circuit breakers that stopped a rapid decline. We have to stop comparing the numbers today in a totally different environment with the past. We are making leaps forward with technology and while the markets will always see pullbacks and corrections a cataclysmic event is just not going to happen absent a nuclear holocaust.
